Last summer, we had an amazing styled shoot with our real bride Shaenyce who we have redesigned her gorgeous gown from Uptown Bridal for a modest look. Off the rack sleeveless dress can be turned into a modest gown simply by adding cap sleeves!
Take a look at behind the scenes shots of how we created this magic wedding shoot as well as our seamless design of cap sleeves!
Stylist Jessica from The J Petite gathered all the team members for this project including beautiful pieces of jewelry from Alixandra Collections. Since she is a part of LDS community, she was such a help to make this LDS styled wedding shoot happen! Here is her cute doggy, Django The Yorkie, being a part of our shoot!
Real bride Shaenyce did a fantastic job modeling throughout the day for the first time!
Photographer Bethany teaching bride some poses. Look at this gorgeous train!
Look how seamless her cap sleeves are! It is very difficult to find sleeved wedding dresses for modest, LDS/Mormon brides since it is more difficult for manufactures to produce such items to fit all different kinds of body types we have (you know that only few of us can call ourselves Standard. There is nothing wrong with it!) or you fell in love with the sleeveless dress and you really really want to wear it! It is your big day, so you should feel most comfortable and beautiful in it! The best way to make it modest is to simply redesign the off-the-rack wedding dress to attach cap sleeves! Our bespoke designer Lana Gerimovich professionally specializes in redesigning and reconstruction. Seamless design by couture sewing technique is guaranteed as if cap sleeves were a part of the modest design from the beginning!
After shooting in the studio, we changed the location to the beautiful Mesa Arizona Temple.
We cannot say Thank You enough to all the team members who involved in this project! Special thanks to our real bride, Shaenyce, for modeling for the first time!
